DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Semi-Skilled Laborer at Penn Nursery you will be a vital member of our team. You will be engaged in daily nursery maintenance tasks, which include repairing fences and gates, as well as mowing and weeding the nursery beds and the surrounding property. When not working in the nursery, you will be working in the wood shop. Here you will be assembling picnic tables to ensure safety for all who utilize them. You will also be using power equipment regularly.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
