SEN Teaching Assistant

Rikama Education are working with a primary school in Ramsgate, who are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant.
This is a full time position which run until the end of the academic year, with a view of going permanent for the right candidate.

The role:

• To work 1:1 with a pupil with Autism
• To liaise with the class teacher, SENCO and external agencies
• Follow the pupils IEP

It is essential that you have:

• Previous experience working with children with additional needs, whether that is in a classroom or similar setting
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• A DBS registered to the update system or willing to have a new one run.

The school has an excellent support team and experienced SLT as part of the extended team.
