Description:

Team Carney is actively seeking a Senior Accessibility Analyst to join our team and support a government client. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines, such as WCAG, ADA, and Section 508, and will be able to apply this knowledge to evaluate and improve our digital offerings. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and product managers, to identify accessibility issues and implement solutions.
This position is REMOTE.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive accessibility audits of digital products and services.
  • Collaborate with designers and developers to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
  • Develop and implement accessibility guidelines and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to team members on accessibility standards.
  • Create detailed reports on accessibility findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in user testing with individuals with disabilities.
  • Review and provide feedback on design and development work from an accessibility perspective.
  • Assist in the development of accessible documentation and training materials.
  • Monitor and report on the accessibility compliance of digital products.
  • Support the development of accessibility policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accessibility laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • 6+ years of experience in accessibility analysis or a related role.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG, ADA, Section 508).
  • Experience conducting accessibility audits and creating detailed reports.
  • Strong knowledge of assistive technologies (screen readers, magnifiers, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience providing training and support on accessibility topics.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Experience with user testing involving individuals with disabilities.
  • Knowledge of accessibility laws and regulations.
