Responsibilities:

In the Revenue and Operations department, the mission is to promote, sell, onboard, and service the products built by our technical teams and departments. This means a deep focus on a 360-degree commercial strategy that helps take new products to market and promote and maximize clients’ usage and experience with existing products.
As an Account Director for the UK, you will be responsible for commercially growing existing and agency & brand relationships in the UK market. Based from our London office, your focus is on the growth of relationships within your Book of Business, using regular conversations with the clients to uncover their challenges and matching those challenges to solutions provided by Adform FLOW. Whilst driving revenue, you will also ensure that these key accounts get the best possible customer experience and you will work with an extended team to provide best-in-class support. You will report to the Country Manager UK and will be part of the global Commercial team at Adform.
Please note the role is Maternity cover with an option to make the role permanent at the end of the maternity cover period by mutual consent.

  • Drive Adform’s commercial success by retaining and expanding customer relationships and increasing product deployment through upselling
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and engage with them in a structured manner through regular calls and meetings to build rapport and deepen their understanding of Adform’s products and services
  • Understand the customer’s business needs and translate them into Adform-supported objectives that deliver customer value
  • Apply account management best practices within your portfolio (Account Plans, QBRs, Monthly Reviews) to grow client revenue through cross-selling, upselling, and retention
  • Balance opportunities, resources, and profitability to ensure the best fit for both the customer and Adform
  • Respond to client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing and prospective customers
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue objectives through personal efforts and collaboration with team members
  • Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities (upsells, cross-sells, new business)
  • Ensure clients receive best-in-class service and support, delivering a superior customer experience through cooperation with other local and international team members within Adform
  • Stay up to date with the latest market and industry trends and events
  • Support the onboarding process for new clients

  • 5+ years of experience in programmatic
  • A strong network of clients and agencies in the UK market
  • A solid understanding of media and marketing, with a clear grasp of programmatic’ s role within that mix
  • A consistent track record of meeting sales objectives, with proven planning and forecasting abilities
  • Experience managing accounts and handling customer success
  • Confidence in presenting solutions and upselling to clients
  • Excellent communication skills, both with clients and within the team
  • Strength in relationship-building
  • Effective presentation skills
  • Proactivity and leadership skills, as you’ll work both autonomously and as part of the UK team
  • Adaptability and flexibility to support a small team and fill in gaps as needed
