Description:

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE AND GROW?

The position of Senior Account Manager is responsible for meeting their individual sales targets by value, product type and profitability. This will be achieved by using practical hands-on demonstration and sales skills to sell engineering and welding products including a full suite of industrial gases to new and existing customers in order to meet individual sales targets.

This is a solution based sales role that requires a strong understanding of the fabrication sector, welding technology, equipment consumables and gases. To succeed in this exciting and challenging role your strong technical business development track record will be matched with expertise in customer relationship management.

  • You will be managing and developing a portfolio of large and complex accounts with strategic value for Air Liquide
  • Negotiating contract terms and pricing, ensuring profitability, and clearly explaining and justifying energy costs and other cost drivers to the customer.
  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities for products and services
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including engineering and service department, dispatch, customer service, controlling and pricing to effectively address and coordinate customer needs within the organization.
  • Travel as needed - mainly within Denmark but from time to time to Malmö, Sweden

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 10+ years of senior experience in sales and negotiations
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (chemical or mechanical) or business related degree is preferred
  • Experience in managing complex accounts and negotiations.
  • Fluent in Danish and advanced level of English
