Description:
WHAT WILL YOUR JOB LOOK LIKE?
- Lead Key Accounts and Teams: Manage key client accounts while overseeing a team of Account Executives and Account Managers, ensuring effective collaboration and performance
- Global Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and maintain global sourcing and procurement networks, identifying new opportunities to enhance the business’s supply chain and product offerings
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact in client meetings, confidently leading discussions and addressing client needs without requiring senior team support
- Mentorship and Team Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to Account Executives and Managers, fostering a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement within the team
- Representation at International Conferences: Represent the company at key international conferences, supporting the leadership team in networking and business development initiatives
- Budgeting and Sales Targets: Assist Account Directors in creating and managing budgets for key accounts, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded, and new growth opportunities are identified
- Customer and Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and suppliers, proactively addressing and resolving any issues to maintain high customer satisfaction
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all team activities adhere to company SOPs, regulatory requirements, and quality standards, maintaining compliance in procurement and supply chain processes
- Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the Group Business Unit Director to promote a culture of continuous improvement, driving operational excellence across the business
- Performance Management and Talent Development: Manage and develop direct reports, focusing on performance management, talent acquisition, and retention to strengthen the team and achieve business goals

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an (Senior) Account Manager to join our Clinical Trial Supplies team to manage and develop new and existing key strategic customer accounts. You will work closely with an experienced team whilst reporting into the Head of Account Management. There may be scope for direct reports too, depending on experience.
