Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a Senior Account Manager for the Italian market, a key role to contribute to the growth and success of a strategic segment.
In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating sales activities with assigned OEMs and partners, working in a dynamic market and following the company’s Go To Market strategy. You will be directly involved in implementing the sales growth plan, building strong and lasting relationships with some of the most innovative and prestigious companies in the industrial landscape.

BACKGROUND & SKILLS

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Hydraulics, or equivalent background.
  • At least 8 years of experience in commercial/technical roles (hunting and/or accounting) in internationally structured environments, operating in the hydraulics market.
  • Consolidated experience in managing commercial relationships with contractors.
  • Strong ability to understand the needs of the industrial market.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship skills, with a strong customer orientation and proactivity, able to work in global and multicultural environments to increase market share in a competitive setting.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Italian and English.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and, if necessary, internationally.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Coordinate the sales activity with assigned OEMs and Partners on the Italian market, based on the Go To Market strategy.
  • Implement the growth sales plan.
  • Reinforce relationship with existing customers.
  • Get on board new ones with specific attention to Danfoss Focus platforms.
  • Coordinate the execution of sales strategy for assigned accounts for Italy.
  • Ensure that the BU initiatives are deployed to assigned customers and feedback from customers are reported back to BU.
  • Cooperate with local Application Engineers team and coordinate activity with customers.
  • Support with rules definition to avoid internal competition.
  • Manage the administration of partners agreements and OEMs contracts with assistance of Contracts manager.
