Senior Accountant - Automotive background

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheets), ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow analysis.
• Monitor and manage inventory valuation, cost of goods sold, and spare parts stock.
• Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure timely filing of tax returns.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports for management and key stakeholders.
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for improving financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Support the development and improvement of internal accounting processes and controls.
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on daily tasks and professional development.

QUALIFICATION:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the automotive/spare parts or manufacturing industry.
• Finance or Accounting Bachelor Degree
