Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA certification a plus).
Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an accountant in the UAE.
Proven experience in managing and leading an accounting team.
Strong understanding of financial reporting principles.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Tally and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the internal accounting team.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records in accordance with UAE IFRS.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Manage and reconcile bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant accounting standards and regulations in the UAE.
  • Generate insightful reports and analyze financial data to support management decision-making.
