The person who occupies the role of Senior Accountant is responsible for reviewing monthly accounting processes in accordance with the schedule and applicable accounting standards, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and acting as a business partner.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with company’s colleagues & stakeholders
  • Ensuring the correctness of relevant bookkeeping and preparing and reviewing all tax declarations properly on time.
  • Verifies the accuracy of accounting entries, allocates them (accounts and cost centers), and corrects them if necessary.
  • Makes accounting records in accordance with local accounting standards and IFRS if applicable.
  • Preparing and ensuring the reporting in BPC is accurate and performed in deadline.
  • Preparation of the company’s financial statements, as well as other documents necessary for local tax authorities.
  • Performing SAF-t reporting and D101 preparation
  • Maintaining collaboration with the finance team and department managers.
  • Preparation of ad-hoc reports for the manager and stakeholders.
  • Providing support in case of internal and external audit or tax review.
  • Ensures the correct implementation and maintenance of internal controls and ensures the elaboration of working procedures.
  • Creating robust documentation, continuously updating it, storing, and sharing it with the team and direct manager
  • Maintaining the relationship with authorities, INSE, BNR & Bank.
  • Ensuring training to junior accountants

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field it would be a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in finance roles
  • Fluent in English written and spoken
  • Attention to details
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
