JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing financial analysis and support to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA or CPA (fully qualified, no inter-CAs)
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and report significant findings to management.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial documents.
• Oversee daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Monitor budget performance and provide insights and recommendations.
• Prepare financial projections and cash flow forecasts.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Provide financial analysis and support for business decisions.
• Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
