Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This role contributes to the monthly and quarterly close process for the international accounting team, primarily for various Docusign entities in EMEA. In addition to helping with monthly close processes, review of management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations will be required. Experience in a US-headquartered multinational, as well as a strong understanding of both US GAAP and Irish/UK GAAP is preferred. In depth knowledge of large company ERP system (Oracle/SAP) would be beneficial. Attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under strict deadlines as well as work effectively in a cross-functional, rapidly changing environment is critical.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the month-end and quarter-end close process for the international accounting team through the preparation of journal entries in areas such as accruals, cash, prepaids, payroll, deferrals, intercompany, commissions, and fixed assets
- As part of the close process ensure that balance sheet accounts are reconciled within established reporting deadlines
- Investigate monthly account variances to ensure consistency and quality of entries and processes
- Support preparation of annual statutory accounts and reporting across various subsidiaries
- Assist with US GAAP audit and quarterly review requests
- Work cross functionally to investigate issues and discrepancies
- Participate in projects aimed towards automation and process improvement as assigned
- Manage ad-hoc projects and tasks
