Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Senior Accountant role is a key role within the Finance team for the CBRE business in Ireland. The role’s main purpose is to work as a key member of the Finance team in the day-to-day operational functions, month-end reporting, and statutory reporting requirements. This will be an exciting and busy role for the right person within a market leading Real Estate business and would suit someone who enjoys having ownership over their day-to-day responsibilities and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Month-end journals, accruals & prepayments
- P&L review and balance sheet reconciliations including intercompany
- Review sales invoices implementing strict revenue recognition principles
- Approve employee expenses and supplier invoices
- VAT returns and analysis
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth reporting process and to ensure deadlines are adhered to
- Preparation of financial statements and statutory year end audit and liaising with auditors
- Other ad-hoc projects
