This role will be managing the gaming company and family office.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree holder with disciplines in banking, business, finance, economics
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting or audit experience
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, laws, and any other compliance requirements
  • Strong in Excel; proficient in VBA, and other data analysis tools
  • Self-directed learner, able to work independently to produce accurate results
  • Good organizational skills, attention to details and good interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of accounting software
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant or Certified Financial Analyst
  • Knowledge of FATCA/CRS classification, registration and annual filing

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accounting duties including bookkeeping, compilation and preparation of financial statements and payroll
  • Ensure all management reports are submitted in a timely manner within the stipulated delivery deadlines
  • Improve and optimize financial workflows, which includes using existing technology tools and applications to increase efficiency and automation
  • Drive tax planning, preparation and filing (income tax, GST etc) exercise, including collaboration with tax authorities and tax agents
  • Manage all accounting matters of the assigned legal entities within the group to ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, local GAAP, group policies, MAS reporting requirements as well as tax requirements.
  • Ensure all requests for payments are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation and prompt payment made to suppliers
