Description:

Budgeting and Forecasting - Consolidation, review and analysis of annual budget and quarterly forecasts until finalization:

  • Compilation of data to review, analyze and validate various budget components
  • Support and supervision of country budget submissions in line with group processes and policies
  • Review and analysis of budget submissions that provides trends and relevant insights for Management recommendation and actions
  • Assisting in preparation of various Budget Packs for respective stakeholders and Presentations for Budget Reviews
  • Assist in preparation of Reforecast for submission to Management, Head office and other stakeholders

Management Reporting - Preparation of timely reports, which include key financial and statistical data and variance analysis:

  • Compilation, preparation and consolidation of various statistical (Volumes, Shipments, Headcount, etc.) and financial data (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, CAPEX, etc.) into reporting packs
  • Consolidation, review & distribution of Flash P&L Report to Management
  • Provide monthly Revenue, Margin, Cost analysis with key drivers to Management
  • Assisting in preparation of Monthly Finance Presentation to Management
  • Assisting in preparation of Monthly Management Pack to Head Office
  • Assisting the team in preparation of Board Reports

Monthly Financial Closing:

  • Involves in review of GL account movement, adjustments and correction entries
  • Involves in review of compliance by country finance and accounting teams to group accounting policies and practices
  • Analysis and preparation of recommendation for corrective action plan in compliance with group accounting policies and practices
  • Involves in coordination and supervision of country finance and accounting teams’ compliance to group month end close process and deadlines
  • Assisting countries and Management in any other areas and queries related to month end closing

Adhoc assignments:

  • Providing financial modelling support to Management for projects related to revenue, margin and cost controls
  • Providing business analysis (incl. branch/site/customer/product/tradelane/shipment-level profitability, business case preparation, evaluation, analysis and appraisal)
  • Any other task assigned by Line Manager or CFO.

Information Security:
Ensure compliance to IT policy in line with the UAE region ISR policy
