WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will work in our Budapest office as part of our local finance team. Our local finance team oversees the quality of all accounting transactions for two legal entities and compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English as well as the local office language

You will work in a team of four accountants, playing an active role in all aspects of our compliance review. This includes gathering and analyzing information from the accounting system (SAP), active communication with our colleagues in FGO on any mistake correction, as well as improving their knowledge of local standards and improving in general quality of transactional record.
You will be playing the role of senior member in the small local team but also in the wider Central Europe team with opportunities to lead different types of efforts focusing on harmonization and/or effectiveness of our processes. You will also be dealing with local tax office and authorities; therefore, local language and Hungarian GAAP knowledge is a must.
