SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT

The Job: Fixed Term 12 Month Contract - Full time (39 Hrs), Monday to Friday

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Qualifications: ACA/ACCA certified.
  • Experience: 1-3 years in a multinational company; shared service center exposure is advantageous.
  • Statutory Accounting: Experience with statutory accounting and VAT in European countries is beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and IT; Oracle experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Journal Management: Prepare, analyse, and post journals.
  • Accruals and Prepayments: Calculate, post, and analyse monthly accruals and prepayments.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Prepare and analyse balance sheet reconciliations at month-end.
  • Inter-Company Accounts: Own, review, and reconcile inter-company accounts across the group.
  • VAT Reporting: Manage monthly VAT reporting and filing.
  • Support Functions: Provide support to customer service and other departments.
  • External Audit Coordination: Maintain key relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring the sign-off of year-end financial statements and tax computations.
  • Statutory Financial Statements: Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with guidelines.
  • Reporting and Projects: Assist with reporting and ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Support: Provide support to other functions as required.
