WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support our Finance Team. For this candidate to be successful, he/she must have an understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, be highly self-motivated and directed, committed to solving problems efficiently, and interested in being part of an organization committed to continuous growth and improvement. This is a position that must be able to set the standard for integrity and professionalism and interact with a diverse team.
This is a hybrid position with half time in local Santiago office and half time work from home option. Please ensure that you upload an English version of your resume / C.V.

THE SKILLS YOU’LL NEED

  • Previous travel or industry related experience is preferred
  • Bilingual English / Spanish required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Highly organized and thorough
  • Strong computer and phone skills
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google apps for business
  • Experience with Netsuite a plus
  • Flexibility and responsiveness to change
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Attention to detail

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years experience public accounting or similar industry experience
  • Big Four audit experience a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Drive process improvements and research relevant accounting topics
  • Support monthly close process
  • Perform flux analysis
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts using company templates
  • Assist with consolidation
  • Correspond with other corporate departments to ensure proper accounting treatment of income and expenses
  • Other tasks and projects as assigned
