With end to end guidance they cover all aspects their clients’ financial wellbeing and offer a range of services including Cashflow and Budgeting, Wealth Management, Retirement Planning, Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSF), Superannuation Advice, Accounting & Tax Planning and Estate Planning.
As part of their succession planning our client is looking for an accountant with a minimum of two years experience in an accounting practice who is looking to be Head Accountant in the next few years. The successful candidate will be given a portfolio of existing clients and will not be tasked with bringing new clients.
EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Experience working as an Accountant within an accounting practice (2 years + )
- SMSF Experience and accreditation is a plus
- CA or CPA qualified

Responsibilities:
- Review Super Records Portal and find queries, reply office queries, prepare queries which should be sent to clients
- Review Super Records Portal and find queries, reply office queries, prepare queries which should be sent to clients
- Review Financial Reports & Tax Returns
- Cash flow, analysis, business improvement strategies
- Allocation of work to a team of accountants(to the junior staff)
- Managing and maintaining client relationships (phone/ email—at the fundamental level, such as gathering further information)
- Training new accountants
- ATO & ASIC correspondence
- Answering client / member queries - SMSF Service Box
- Annually review ATO LRBA Interest Rates each July and notify members with Related Party Loan Agreements in place of any changes to the monthly payments.
- Send reminder / review Rental arrangements for SMSF’s with Commercial Property rented to a Related Party.
- Ensure Trustee’s apply the rental increases according to Lease Agreements
- Facilitate the Termination of our SMSF Services for SMSF clients moving away
