Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the company’s financial records, ensure compliance with local regulations, and oversee daily accounting activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience working in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with local accounting standards.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Handle payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure compliance with VAT and Cooperate Tax regulations and prepare VAT returns.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities as required.
- Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zohobook or Tally ERP).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
