Responsibilities:

  • Record to Report (e.g., General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Variance Analysis)
  • Balance sheet review & reconciliations
  • Inventory / Cost Accounting
  • Support external/internal audits
  • Supplemental reporting in support of public filings
  • Procure to Pay and Order to Cash analysis, as needed
  • Support for Oracle Projects (initiate projects, update time/costs, work with engineers on capturing relevant costs, provide reporting, etc.)
  • Analytical review of leases
  • Support accounting and reporting for the buildings and grounds costs

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare financial reports of the BU, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Support processes including, but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger (e.g., prepare and review manual journal entries, reconciling accounts [including intercompany accounts], and preparing financial statements), fixed assets, and necessary support for treasury and tax/trade compliance including variance analysis.

General support for the close process.

Cost Management

  • Verify the reported costs associated with the division(s), analyze cost trends, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Cost tracking for research and development costs to support the tax team.
  • Support the partnerships with other functions to ensure that expenses are aligned with overall business strategy.
  • Ensure the internal control systems within the BU are effective and compliant with company policies and regulations.
