Senior Accountant

Stigma Grow, an innovative and growing cannabis company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to take a hands-on role in managing full-cycle accounting and financial operations. This role requires a highly organized individual capable of managing multiple entities, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate reporting to the CFO must possess a CPA and have experience in manufacturing or related industries. This is an onsite position with no availability for remote work. Candidate must reside in Alberta.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certification: CPA required.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in the cannabis, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Health Canada regulation and CRA regulations relating to Alberta Gaming, Liquor, and Cannabis industry is an asset.
  Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting principles and financial regulation.

KNOWLEDGE OF IFRS IS AN ASSET.

Skills: Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage complex accounting operations and meet strict deadlines.
