Competencies & skills requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional experience as Financial Accountant, ideally within the hotel industry
  • Completed studies in the field of finance, accounting or similar degree (i.e. Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt, Tax Consultant, Betriebswirt, Finance Manager)
  • 1-2 years experience in leading a small team or willingness to become a people manager
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Outstanding analytical skill

Responsibilities:

  • Team leadership of currently 2 Accounting Business Agents, with the possibility to extend the team to up to 5 people
  • Ensure process delivery with Accounting expertise for processes being covered by BPO and Accounting insights relevant for processes not being covered by the BPO partner.
  • Counterpart to finance service delivery network at BPO side to support ad-hoc questions or incidents which requires Radisson insights and knowledge.
  • Drive the implementation and standardization of Finance hotel activities within the Area and ensure documentation (Policies/SOPs) are up to date.
  • Support the hotel teams and BPO in defined activities as required including month end closings, year end closings.
  • Support the BPO partner by solving non-standard (non-transactional) activities in Accounting/Operations (e.g. reconciliation of accounts, clearing of dummy accounts) for processes which are covered by the BPO
  • Conduct regular validation checks of transactions (TMS, SAP 4/HANA, BPC) and monitor performance of BPO partner.
  • Ensure that all agreed finance processes (specifically account reconciliations) are compliant and complete.
  • Proactive keep up to date in area (country specific) accounting rules and regulation changes.
  • Provide training for finance and non-finance employees regarding processes and enablers.
  • Ad Hoc projects as defined by Direct Manager
