Description:

Under the supervision of the Manager, Accounting & Finance, he/she is responsible for performing technical and administrative accounting functions of the company.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:-

  • Chartered accountant or Degree in Accountancy equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in handling full sets of accounts and reporting;
  • Strong working knowledge of accounting/general ledger/book-keeping;
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work and possess good time management skills;
  • Professional, independent and hands-on with a high level of commitment to deliver work on

time accurately;

  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and tight deadlines;
  • Meticulous, analytical, initiative and good problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work independently and a good team player;
  • Familiar with SAP S4 Hana system and experience in handling external/internal audits;
  • Well versed in MS Excel and spreadsheet techniques with exceptional numerical proficiency;
  • Good written & verbal communication skills;
  • Able to communicate and work well with people at all levels;
  • Willing to take up challenges and adapt to changes/new ideas

Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that accounting processes are in compliance with Accounting Standards and SOX;
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly and yearly closing of accounts under tight deadline;
  • Prepare management reports/reporting package and analyse financial performance monthly;
  • In-charge of fixed assets accounting;
  • Balance sheet accounts reconciliation;
  • Assist in analysis of financial statements & preparation of management reports for review;
  • Consolidation of accounts;
  • Guide and review work performed by team members when necessary;
  • Preparation of statutory schedules and reporting for annual statutory audit;
  • Prepares corporate income tax with tax agent;
  • Filing of surveys required by statutory boards;
  • Assist in forecasting and budgeting process; and
  • Involve in ad-hoc projects.
