As a Senior Acquisition Analyst, you will be on a dynamic team with daily interaction among all facets of the construction of the FFG 62 (Guided Missile Frigate) frigate and join the Integration team and help provide executive briefs, standardized products and messaging both internal to the program, to Congress, and the highest levels of the Navy. Bring your acquisition expertise and collaborative skills to make an impact towards our military defense, the quality of ships and the success and safety of our sailors.
Serco supports the US Navy as a prime by providing engineering and production support on the FFG 62 (Guided Missile Frigate) program.
In this role, you will:
- Prepare reports, executive summaries and briefs to be presented to a variety of audiences, including senior military officers and senior executives with emphasis on ensuring the information is tailored to the audience and the delivery of information is accurate.
- Manage, facilitate, edit, and approve the completion of Requests for Information from Congress, Reports and Letters to Congress, and Audits from the Government Accountability Office GAO.
- Provide updates on executive and congressional highlights and issues relevant to the FFG-62 program.
- Create internal communication plans and standards for Frigate Program messaging, including responses to external requests for information (RFIs), media inquiries, public affairs guidance (PAG), Government Accountability Office (GAO) annual assessment, reports to Congress (RTCs).
- Develop and maintain a tool to track all responses to external inquiries.
- Assist in the development, updating, and maintenance of program documentation and reporting, including, but not limited to quarterly Defense Acquisition Executive Summary Reports (DAES), and annual Selected Acquisition Report (SAR) reports.
- Coordinate, attend and participate in meetings, working groups and integrated product teams.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DOD Secret clearance.
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- High School Diploma/GED and 4 additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- 8 years of relevant experience (Experience in DoD integration support or similar highly preferred)
- Knowledge of DoD and DoN acquisition policy and execution. (i.e. DoD 5000)
- Experience in surface combatant ships.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and technical report writing skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

In compliance with the District of Columbia’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $96,936.08 to $157,519.86; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
