To support the teams who are powering this ecosystem we have a global Corporate division consisting of departments including Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales, Strategy, Human Resources, Central Services and PR and Communications.
Our Corporate division are now seeking a talented Senior Administration Accountant to join the Finance & Administration Division.
Some of the essentials for you to know are:
Location: our offices in Zola Predosa (Bologna), Italy
Reporting into: Finance & Administration Director YOOXG
Contract Type: Maternity Cover
Working Model: Hybrid
Role purpose: The successful candidate will join with the F&A Team of YOOXG and will provide support throughout the finance and administration activities for the Parent Company and the Subsiadiaries involved.

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting the General Ledger and any other accounting entry (i.e.: Account Receivables, Accounting Payables, Intercompany Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, IFRS15, IFRS16, IAS1, Expenses and Payroll, etc..);
  • Supporting any balance reconciliation activities for all Legal Entities;
  • Supporting the balance sheet closing operations for all Legal Entities;
  • Supporting in auditing accounting process in compliance with local laws and Group regulations;
  • Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS) and IFRS;
  • Managing the custom activities reconciliation in the accounting system;
  • Managing the SDI Check for all B2B2C document issued;
  • Supporting in the Fixed Assets activities, including annual Inventory Process for all Legal Entities;
  • Supporting all the activities and control on the account payable process related to all Legal Entities and, only for Courier Tool, for all the Subsidiaries;
  • Implementation and formalization of processes and procedures within the area of F&A Team;
  • Monitoring the main cross-area activities and their implementation according the deadlines requested, throughout continuous updates and specular mapping (ex-ante and ex-post), reported to each owner of the flows;
  • Supporting in all Marketing place accounting activities in all Legal Entities;

The type of person we are looking for:

  • Diploma in Accounting or a University Degree in Economics.
  • Prior significant experience in a similar position;
  • Reliability, thoroughness, discretion and maximum confidentiality is a must have;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and proactive approach;
  • Excellent ability to manage complex negotiations;
  • Ability to work in a team and with multifunctional teams;
  • Excellent spoken and written English and availability for short trips abroad;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional (PowerPoint, Word and Excel);
  • Knowledge of Navision will be considered a plus.
