Position summary
Are you passionate about contributing to people and animal safety in Australia? Efficient at managing complex admin tasks while remaining adaptable and applying a keen eye for detail?
The Registration Management program manages the pre-market evaluation and registration of pesticides and veterinary medicines. The program draws on scientific evaluation and uses a risk-based approach to determine the safety and efficacy of agvet products.
The administration team are responsible for accurately entering and storing information relating to pesticide applications. The senior administration officer will perform a range of tasks including client liaison, initial assessments of applications and the assessment of non-technical applications. Duties may also include managing incoming enquiries and additional information provided by applicants.
The tasks an administration officer performs rapidly changes depending on the requirements of the pesticides team. A strong attention to detail is required as is an ability to manage competing priorities.
