Description:
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for all work orders on site, including issuing work orders, receiving completed WO in return, entering them into the Vantage system and filing.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities of this position are.
- Issue work orders for planned maintenance – provide to parts department to prepare filter packages – aligns with maintenance schedule
- Issue work orders for unplanned maintenance to the maintenance coordinator
- Issue work orders for unplanned field level maintenance as requested by the supervisors – light towers, generators, water pumps
- Track work orders in specified log for management
- Track and advise on “open work order” report
- Maintain “shop lost time” work order
- Enter repairs completed from mechanic timecards on to work orders
- Close work orders that are complete
- Update Planned Maintenance and Unplanned Maintenance spreadsheets as required
- Review for parts used to perform repairs – verify status of open PO numbers
- Complete third-party work orders
- Complete billable repair work orders
- Participate in work planning meeting to follow-up on scheduling with maintenance coordinator and operations manager.
- Identify warrantable repairs and facilitate warranty process through the warranty log.
- Identify “call-backs” with maintenance coordinator to facilitate training/development/corrective actions
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- 1-2 years related experience required.
- Demonstrated prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment required.
- Excellent problem solving skills and business acumen required.
- Ability to communicate with all levels and types of people inside and outside of the company required.
- High School diploma or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Construction or related industry experience and asset
