An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join the Clinical Administration Service (CAS) within Hub 2, as part of our secretarial team as a Senior Administrator.
This vacancy is based at Castle Hill Hospital within the Trauma and Orthopaedics Department. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with previous clerical experience who can communicate at all levels, work flexibly and is able to organise and prioritise their workload along with that of their team as these roles may involve some line management responsibility (previous staff management would be desirable but not essential). Good communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with members of the public. We are looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting, those with a ‘can do’ attitude and importantly due to the nature of the work people who have a flexible approach to working.
Please note that this advertised vacancy does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa and therefore HUTH would not be able to issue a Certificate of Sponsorship for this role.
The successful candidates will join the friendly and supportive team within the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department that values the contribution of all staff.

The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As a Senior Administrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
With a specific focus on working with our secretarial team in the management of our patients through their patient pathways, you must be committed to delivering a high standard of patient care and have a flexible attitude to work and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
Other duties may include typing clinical correspondence and tracking patients through their treatment pathway.
