Description:
We are looking for a senior AHP to lead the Senior Adult Oncology service who will be a proven expert in providing specialist interventions and providing pre and rehabilitation to complex older patients during anti cancer treatments as well as aiding cancer treatment decisions in complex older patients
The Senior Adult Oncology Rehabilitation Team Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating the service at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust for this patient cohort. and will work within the MDT to provide outstanding evidence based clinical practice and co lead, with the Clinical Director, to develop the service strategy, quality standards and effective pathways of care
The post holder will have opportunity to contribute, facilitate, design and lead quality improvement projects with the aim of enhancing and promoting the value of the AHP role within cancer care.
PLANNING AND ORGANISATION
To operationally manage and co lead a clinical caseload to meet competing service and patient priorities, frequently readjusting plans as situations change/arise and balancing other patient related and professional activities in accordance with professional and service standards.
To liaise across multi professional groups to ensure that the clinical service delivery is co-ordinated with others who may be involved in patient care.
To provide a safe, efficient and effective AHP service to patients within the clinical area by responsible and appropriate management
