Description:

SENIOR ADVANCED AI ENGINEER

As a Senior Advanced Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Honeywell, in Dublin, you will play a critical role in achieving our Artificial Intelligence initiatives within the Honeywell Connected Enterprise division. This position will concentrate on developing and implementing solutions from start to finish, including involvement in project management, dealing with stakeholders, and ensuring meaningful and actionable results. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects align with business needs and comply with best practices and industry standards. This is a hybrid role, 3 + 2 days model.
Honeywell Connected Enterprise develops software that securely unites OT and IT data to make better decisions and improve operational performance. Our flagship suite of applications, Honeywell Forge unites real-time data across assets, people, and processes to drive intelligent operations growth, productivity, and risk mitigation.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Bachelor’s in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields.
  • 6+ years in AI/ML engineering with strong software engineering skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Python and familiar with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, working on projects dealing with Timeseries, NLP and Image processing datasets.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Agile: Hands-on with Agile methodologies and tools such as Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo) and Git.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive AI projects from initiation to completion (following SDLC), ensuring they deliver meaningful results.
  • Plan and execute tasks efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Provide regular progress updates to keep the team and stakeholders informed.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices within the team.
  • Maintain high standards in coding practices, ensuring quality and best practices are followed.
  • Produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation for all projects.
  • Maintain good and effective communication with stakeholders to align project goals and timelines and stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends.
