CGI Innovation Center of Excellence in Finland develops new services and solutions to our customers in Finland and globally. Our key services consist of Cloud and Data Analytics Solutions, Automation, Design, Enterprise Data Management and AI solutions. We are now facing a strong demand for growth and are now looking for experienced AI Consultants to join our strong team at Advanced Analytics Solutions -unit.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Your job, whether you identify yourself as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer/Architect, or a GenAI Developer, is to transform our customers business problems into data problems and solve them with the help of technology creating sustainable business value.
Your daily life will be varied, involving activities such as technical sales efforts, algorithm development, ML pipeline optimization, or fine-tuning GenAI models. However, while we’re not afraid of giving responsibility to our members, we also emphasize collaboration and encourage you to focus on areas where you excel. If you have a strong background in data analysis and/or machine learning, whether from industry or academia, we’d love to hear how you would fit in!

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in analytical / data science experience in industry or academia.
• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and relevant ML frameworks. Experience with cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Functional Skills: Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to transform business problems to data/technical problems and further create value with implemented solutions.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and with a tendency to gain trust naturally.
• Language: Ability to communicate in Finnish is a plus.

• Lead our customers to transform their business processes with AI and provide expert advice on relevant data science methodologies and best practices, and design technical solutions and roadmaps that enable the change.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Design, build, and deploy scalable machine learning models and systems.
• Optimize machine learning pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models, making improvements as needed.
• Design, develop, and deploy generative AI models for various applications such as text generation, image synthesis, and content creation and finetune them for performance, accuracy & scalability.
