Description:
Are you interested in an exciting and unique opportunity to help shape and deliver the UK’s first National AI Research Service? We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic AI research engineer to work on Dawn, the most powerful AI supercomputer in the UK. Dawn is now being deployed for use by scientists across the UK in globally important research fields such as clean energy, personalized medicine and climate science and we need your help to develop and exploit state of the art tools and workflows to drive exploitation of this world leading resource.
Responsibilities:
You’ll be working on a diverse range of AI software projects and on user engagement. You will be comfortable adapting your approach to meet the needs of the project, client and team. You will be working with advanced AI tools and methods on projects with experienced users as well as novice users and will have an engaging approach to both. You will be able to build relationships at all levels with experience of influencing and negotiating with stakeholders to achieve goals.
You will be collaborating with world leading academic research teams, and researchers in the public and the commercial sector to deliver on their project goals.
