POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the COO, the Senior Amazon eCommerce Manager is responsible for the success of both launching products and the growth of existing products within the Amazon marketplace.
A fundamental part of this role includes mastering the complex Amazon A9 algorithm to successfully launch and rank products across various keywords, search terms and categories so that consumers can discover our brand.

As an Amazon eCommerce Manager, you will be essential in helping analyze emerging marketplace tactics, strategies, and best practices for positioning products through ongoing learning, testing, and optimizing:

We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven marketer with a hunger for success. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of running and growing a successful Amazon eCommerce business. You must possess an in-depth understanding of digital marketing and the Amazon Marketplace.
You’ll be managing a dynamic team of talented and collaborative marketers who thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. The team leverages industry knowledge and insights in order to apply the most impactful B2C marketing strategies and tactics that support the company’s mission and business objectives.

  • Manage a team of 3 Amazon marketers to achieve quarterly and yearly goals.
  • Monitor sales, keyword rankings, review ratings, and product positioning across our Amazon product line.
  • Lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of NutraChamps’ Amazon growth, profitability, and brand recognition.
  • Perform market research and competitor analysis leading to product improvements.
  • Continuously run promotions to increase sales and rankings.
  • Drive testing strategy in every step of the funnel, finding opportunities for growth, including in new channels, partners, audiences, creative, and messaging.
  • Develop a data roadmap and lead data-driven strategies and decisions.
  • Own the budget, forecast, and P&L for the Amazon eCommerce business.
  • Frequently monitor, analyze, and lead forecasts to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Internal subject matter expert on new technologies, partners, and capabilities for NutraChamps’ eCommerce roadmap.
  • Liaise with all internal departments to ensure alignment of strategy and priorities.
  • Lead the expansion into the Canadian, UK, and EU Amazon marketplaces.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of a proven track record of scaling eCommerce business(es) in multi-channel environments.
  • 5 years of experience selling products on Amazon.
  • Previous ownership of P&L and management of at least $50,000 monthly budgets.
  • Excellent analytical mindset and the creativity & confidence to take calculated risks rooted in data and consumer insights.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and formal presentation skills.
  • Self-starter that takes initiative, makes decisions, and provides clear direction to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and adapt to changing business needs.
  • A hunger and motivation to drive meaningful growth.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset and eagerness to identify and tackle new business challenges with urgency.
  • Excellent project management skills and commitment to deadlines, processes and policies, and demonstrated ability to build great digital campaigns.
