About the role
As part of our Corporate and Commercial Finance Team you will be co-responsible for a range of financial accounting and management accounting activities, including but not limited to reconciliations, acquittals, asset management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
You will:
- provide specialist advice and commercial finance support to senior leaders for a range of management accounting activities;
- provide expert and technical support for a range of financial accounting activities;
- manage financial improvement/sustainability projects and promote a cost-conscious culture;
- triage stakeholder management through the development, and management of the self-service portal; and
- contribute significantly to managing annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting processes.
About you
You will have demonstrated financial accounting knowledge, and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders, strong analytical and problem solving abilities accompanied by experience in financial administration including the development and monitoring of budgets and implementation of effective systems and processes.
You will possess:
- postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications (being Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Accountant (CA) or international equivalent).
- a proven track record in managing financial improvement/sustainability projects and promoting a cost conscious culture;
- demonstrated ability to analyse, integrate, articulate, and contribute to procedural and organisational change, policy development and initiatives; and
- the ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
