Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Are you passionate about partnering with our cross-functional teams in Canada and the US to establish new and innovate ways to improve our business processes and tools? Join our team where you will support with forecasting/budgeting, analytics, and reporting for the Canadian team! You will provide financial reporting, planning, and analysis to support omni-channel operating and functional areas while being responsible for presenting findings and recommendations to key partners. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own P&L and financial statement areas including understanding risks, re-forecasting, handling profitability, and long-term strategy planning to build a business plan that meets expectations with current business trends
  • Conduct analyses and reports for different target audiences including recurring financial results and forecast presentations while owning ad-hoc cases and providing recommendations
  • Support and complete monthly close process including preparation of variance reports and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
  • Partner and connect with cross-functional partners to resolve problems, ensure successful financial performance, challenge the status quo, and communicate risks while making recommendations
  • Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of strategies, business issues, risks and profitability opportunities while developing and implementing improvements to current processes
