SENIOR ANALYST, IMPACT

New York, New York (or San Francisco, California)
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Analyst based in San Francisco or New York with a strong analytical skillset, growth mindset, and passion for making a positive impact. This exciting and expansive role will provide support for our private markets impact investing vehicle and broader ESG integration activities across our investment platform.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates strong quantitative aptitude, insatiable curiosity, superlative attention to detail, and critical thinking. We encourage candidates with these innate characteristics to apply even if they don’t have all the preferred skills.

  • 2-4 years of experience in ESG and/or impact investing, consulting, investment banking, private equity, development finance, nonprofit finance, economic policy, research, or other relevant fields.
  • Demonstrated interest in ESG and impact investing and passion for leveraging capital to address social and environmental challenges.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, liberal arts, or related study preferred.
  • Strong skillset in Microsoft Office, namely PowerPoint and Excel; Python and Power BI or similar programs desirable but not required.
  • Experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research and analysis; financial modeling experience desirable but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator, enjoy cultivating relationships with complex stakeholder groups.
  • Familiarity with and/or interest in multi-asset class experience across public and private markets (i.e., private equity, private credit, real assets, venture capital, etc.).
  • Humility, a sense of humor, and willingness to roll up sleeves and get work done.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow as an investment professional; desire to work with a team of like-minded colleagues.
  • Demonstrated lifelong learner who thrives undertaking a broad variety of tasks, relishes puzzles and intellectual challenges, and is comfortable with ambiguity and moving targets.A bias toward action

    COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

    Compensation at Jordan Park includes a base salary, discretionary year-end bonus, benefits and other perks. We apply a total reward philosophy when determining compensation terms.
    The expected base salary for this role in New York, New York will range from $100,000 - $110,000 per year commensurate with experience, job-related skills, relevant education, licenses and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

    Responsibilities:

    YOUR ROLE

    This multi-faceted role on the Impact Team is designed to support all the ways we deploy ESG-integrated and impact investing capital. This work spans manager diligence, Impact Measurement & Management (IMM), asset allocation recommendations, and client-facing materials support across asset classes and the ESG & impact spectrum. Responsibilities may include:

    • Support screening, evaluating, conducting due diligence, and monitoring impact investments in our multi-theme impact investing portfolio. Assist with writing investment memorandums and preparing presentations that summarize key findings from investment due diligence. Investments are primarily venture capital, private equity, and real assets funds and co-investments.
    • Support annual ESG & DEI monitoring process across our investment platform, including development of data collection infrastructure and data analysis.
    • Provide cross-asset class evaluation, diligence thought-partnership, and resources for ESG integration. This may include investments in private markets, fixed income, public equities, and commodities.
    • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of client ESG and impact preferences in portfolio asset allocation recommendations. Develop related client-facing materials.
    • Help construct annual ESG & DEI Reports for clients with quantitative and qualitative data across asset classes.
    • Support the Impact Team in critical functions including coordinating team meeting agendas, note-taking, and managing team collateral.
    • Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Investment, Client Advisory, Client Service, and Investor Relations Teams, as well as other key internal partners..
    • Conduct research and landscape analysis and manage knowledge library across various impact topics.
    • Engage with an extensive network of industry partners to support client needs and enhance our impact platform/offering.
