Global Specialty IT is searching for an experienced candidate for the position of Senior IT analyst supporting the Genius application. We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual with extensive knowledge of Genius application. GS IT is in a multi-year journey to move processing in Genius to new applications and platforms. This position plays a crucial role in supporting production activity in addition to project activities as work is moved to new applications.
This role will have a Hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of working in an office location (Add locations) 3 days a week (Tuesday through Thursday).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-going support to end users.
  • Be a functional/technical expert on system features, system functionality, access/security controls, master data and understanding of business processes.
  • Help to decommission legacy system to preserve data integrity.
  • Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between legacy system and desired outcomes.
  • Support all retirement activities of legacy system.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ experience in business process analysis
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Genius application knowledge
  • Strong computer skills
  • Problem solving skills.
  • iSeries system knowledge

Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship. The company will not support the STEM OPT I-983 Training Plan endorsement for this position.
Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$96,080 - $144,120
