As a Modern Workplace Office 365 Desktop Specialist, you will provide technical support to our clients. You will handle installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining laptops and desktops, as well as ensuring that they are secure and up to date. You will also assist users with any issues they may have with Microsoft Windows, software applications, network connectivity, printers, and other devices As a Modern Workplace Senior Analyst you are focused on Infrastructure, you will provide oversight of projects for our clients utilizing Microsoft Modern Workplace technologies. Together we do what matters.

Skills and experiences

  • Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in desktop support or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11, Office 365, and Active Directory
  • Working knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Must be able to work on site in Toronto office

  • Set up, repair, and upgrade laptops and desktops according to company standards and policies
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a prompt and professional manner
  • Provide user support and training on Microsoft Windows, Office 365, and other applications
  • Monitor and support the security and performance of laptops and desktops, including antivirus, updates, backups, and encryption
  • Document and report any incidents, problems, or requests using the ticketing system
  • Coordinate with other IT staff and vendors to ensure the quality and availability of IT services
  • Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in desktop support
