JOB POSTING: SENIOR ANALYST (ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN)
Location: Remote / Ontario, Canada (Travel as Required)
Employment Type: Contract (February 24 – May 20, 2025)
Compensation: Competitive (Based on Experience)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in organizational design, workforce planning, or HR consulting.
- Experience conducting job role mapping, reporting line analysis, and efficiency assessments.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills for workforce and operational data.
- Ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions, focus groups, and interviews.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Experience working in non-profit or Indigenous organizations is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop professional reports and presentations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certification in Change Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Workforce Analytics.
- Knowledge of Ontario’s non-profit labor laws and employment policies.
- Familiarity with Indigenous governance and cultural frameworks.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Watershed Management Consulting is hiring a Senior Analyst (Organizational Design) to support a comprehensive organizational review for the Ontario Federation of Indigenous Friendship Centres (OFIFC). This role focuses on assessing roles, responsibilities, reporting lines, and workforce efficiency to optimize OFIFC’s organizational structure. The successful candidate will analyze data, conduct focus groups, and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational effectiveness.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze OFIFC’s current organizational structure, workforce distribution, and reporting hierarchies.
- Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct focus groups and interviews with OFIFC employees and leadership to gather qualitative data.
- Benchmark against best practices in similar Indigenous and non-profit organizations.
- Provide workforce planning insights to align resource allocation with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with governance consultants and facilitators to develop a detailed organizational review report.
- Support the presentation of findings and recommendations to the OFIFC Board.
