About the team
Our collective focus is on delivering scalable assurance and advisory services to our clients, with the role being to provide data, software and technology expertise to enable the operations teams to conduct their day-to-day activities.
What will your typical day look like?
Work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders to research, consult, analyse and evaluate system program needs
Assist customers, internal business and technology stakeholders, translate requirements into data business requirements.
Translate data requirements into the design and build of database, ETL, business intelligence solutions across a range of technologies from end-to-end: data acquisition through to reporting.
Write and maintain code to meet system requirements and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards
Provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costings for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
Review code bases and conduct routine data checks to ensure data integrity, identifying opportunities for improvement and risk management
Mentor junior team members in computer science languages and software tools

You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
3+ years’ experience in a hands-on data focussed capacity or similar: working with databases, SQL queries and stored procedures, ETL builds and data management
Experience in working across the software development lifecycle
Capability in one or more data technologies (SQL Server, SAS, Talend, SSIS, SSMS, SSRS, snowflake)
Hands-on experience with one or more coding languages (Python, Java, SQL, R) to wrangle transactions data into modelling datasets
Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences and raise technology understanding in every interaction.
Deep relevant technical knowledge and tech savviness, delivering rapid and high impact for clients
Proven track record of critical thinking and analytical skills to resolve business problems with appropriate risk averse solutions
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline (preferred)
Good Customer Engagement and stakeholder management skills
