Description:

SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Senior Analyst, System Support is responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday HRMS. This involves working closely with various departments to ensure the system meets the organization’s needs and that internal processes and systems are following policies, union agreements and legislative and regulatory requirements. This includes developing processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of information management.

Position Details

  • Non-union - This position is permanent full time.

Key Accountabilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday modules such as Core HCM, Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards.
  • Develop processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of information systems, ensuring internal processes and systems are in compliance with policies, union agreements and legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and identify and recommend solutions for optimizing processes and system utilization.
  • Provide support and training to end-users.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Perform subject matter expert role on project teams in the development of system requirements for new applications, features or modules, as well as upgrades and enhancements to existing applications or modules.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within the Workday system.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
  • Three (3) years experience working with integrated information systems and databases, including analytics and advanced reporting tools.
  • Experience using the Workday HRMS would be an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.

A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.
