About you
As the Senior Tax Analyst on our Global team, you will be a strong team player reporting into our Manager of US Tax with an interest in taking on new challenges.
In this role, you will…
- Prepare U.S. corporation and partnership income tax returns and other annual informational returns (e.g., Form 1120, 1065, etc.).
- Lead the preparation of U.S. estimated tax calculation and coordinate their payments
- Manage the preparation of state/city Business & Occupancy tax returns, Gross Receipts tax returns, Corporate Activity Tax returns and other indirect tax returns, as required
- Assist with the quarterly and annual tax provisions of the consolidated group.
- Research and follow up of various tax issues, and effective communication of tax matters to accounting and finance team.
- Support with tax assessments, U.S. federal and state tax audits
What you’ll bring
- 3-5 years of US tax experience in professional accounting firms or industry.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA).
- Prior hands-on experience of preparing U.S. corporation and partnership tax returns.
- Good understanding of income tax accounting, preferably US GAAP ASC 740.
- A professional with great interpersonal skills who is committed to service excellence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Excel.
Bonus skills and experience
- Prior hands-on experience of surplus or E&P calculation
- Familiar with Go Systems or Onesource US tax preparation software

Approximate Salary/Hourly Range for this Role: $66,203/year - $100,000/year
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
