Description:
INTRODUCTION
Our client is a software SME who are looking for an Android Developer to develop and deliver bespoke native Android solutions for Defence clients.
Candidates must be experts in Android development as the team is small and needs technical expertise, although they do offer extensive training opportunities including their own E-Learning library.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Be a ‘problem solver’, using innovation to design creative Android applications for clients!
- An excellent team player but also able to work alone when required.
- Experience of developing Android applications, in Java and/or Kotlin using Android Studio.
- Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented design.
- A minimum of a 2:1 Degree in Computer Science or related subject.
Responsibilities:
- Act as an Android SME to gather and analyse requirements from clients and turn them into technical solutions.
- Design and develop Android applications in Java and/or Kotlin, using Android studio.
- Work across the whole development lifecycle from planning, design through to implementation, and support.
- Be innovative and creative – this client really promotes developers coming up with their own ideas.
