You’ll closely work together with other developers of the Android team and help them perform on their highest technical level. You will empower them by delivering tailored solutions that address their specific needs and enhance their productivity and efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Enable our Android Developers working on app features in cross functional teams to perform on their highest levels of efficiency.
- Collaborate with Productivity Developers across iOS, Backend, Web and QA teams to align on shared objectives and exchange meaningful insights.
- Ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with best practices in managing build tools and release processes.
- Setup measuring mechanisms for our app’s critical metrics, like memory consumption and rendering performance and ensure your team is informed in time about alerts automatically.
- Own and optimize our CI/CD pipelines, Gradle, and other tools to streamline our build and release process.
YOU’LL BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE IF YOU
- Are highly self-driven, responsible, and keen to learn and improve.
- Thrive by enabling other developers to work on their highest level of performance.
- Have 4+ years of professional experience as an Android developer.
- Possess a solid foundation in software development, with proficiency in not only Kotlin, but also solid understanding of Gradle and at least one scripting language.
- Are professional in understanding app monitoring, build and release automation, CI/CD systems and know the best tools for it.
- Prioritize stakeholder needs in decision-making processes and proactively drive projects forward to improve efficiency.
- Keep your Android development knowledge up to date.
- Excel as a team player and communicator in a diverse and international remote team.
