REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of Android development expertise
• 3+ years of professional Kotlin development
• Deep understanding of Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI)
• Strong foundation in data structures and Android framework internals
• Excellence in technical communication and mentorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with C/C++ and Assembly language
• Background in reverse engineering
• iOS or cross-platform development experience
• Previous work with ad-blocking or privacy-focused technologies

THE ROLE

As a Senior Android Engineer, you’ll shape the future of mobile ad-blocking technology while leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior developers. This position offers the perfect blend of hands-on development and technical leadership in a remote-first environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive the architecture and development of sophisticated Android applications using Kotlin and Java, with occasional C/C++ components
• Lead technical initiatives within our agile team to advance our ad-blocking capabilities
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and supporting their career development
• Design and implement robust, scalable solutions that meet both user needs and business objectives
• Champion code quality through architectural best practices, code reviews, and process improvements
• Collaborate across teams to guide projects from conception through deployment
