Your Team
Information Technology Services provides a wide range of IT facilities and support services to ASIC. We are undertaking major technology projects that will transform our business and continue our significant technology transformation in a number of areas such as virtualisation, data analytics, mobility and cloud.
The Applications & Integration Team develop, support and maintain critical Registry Applications in IT such as SOA and other relevant middleware technologies that support ASIC stakeholder needs. We contribute and support both continuous improvement and business critical projects during Development, System test, User Acceptance test and Implementation phases of such project(s).
Your role
Provide testing services in support of IT Operations and Applications areas (projects and BAU). These services include the test automation of software according to the Solution Development Methodology (SDM). Adopt industry best practices to ensure that testing is of the highest quality
Preparing test documentation including test strategies and test plans, test conditions and cases according to ASIC’s System Delivery methodology (SDM)
Conducting testing across different System Readiness test phases such as Systems Test, Systems Integration Test, UAT etc. with specific focus on Test Automation
Create and perform automation test scripts for regression and verification testing
Raising and monitoring defect resolution and release
Producing relevant test reports and test statistics as required
Lead, design, build & remediation of functional regression test automation across projects under the OneASIC Platform
Lead, design & build of automation regression tests across different business units at ASIC. E.g. Enterprise systems
Design & implementation of API testing across projects
Uplift of current automation test automation solution
Technical lead of the automation test team
Mentor, train and assist the onboarding of new automation testers
Technical support and managing of DevOps for API & functional automation testing
Manage & administer the DevOps test agents & developers test servers
Manage & administer API software licensing
Report on daily automation regression execution tests in OneASIC Platform DevOps project, and attend bug triage session to triage application bugs
Administer test deployment queue, CI/CD build and deployment pipeline

About you

• Proven skills, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge and skills, in the use of testing products such as (Azure Devops, Selenium and or Playwright web driver, WinApp Driver, C#, Coded UI, MS Visual Studio, SmartBear Ready API and TestComplete, other REST and XML automation tools) are highly desirable/mandatory
• Automation of web applications including desktop and 3270 emulation
• Demonstratable experience in Designing & executing Automation Test Scripts
• An excellent knowledge of IT Systems Development Lifecycles (SDLC).
• Documented Test plans, Test Estimation, Test Case Creation and Test case execution process
• A knowledge of, or the ability to quickly acquire a knowledge of, ASIC’s systems and underlying technologies (i.e. cloud based MS CRM dynamics and SharePoint, Neuron, Boomi, Oracle ESB, iApply, MS SQL 2016 and above, integration with CI/CD pipeline are highly desirable.
