Job Description:

• Technical Expertise & Support: Provide application and product support on 3M’s fall protection equipment, including harnesses, lanyards, anchors, and self-retracting lifelines (SRLs).
• Customer Interaction: Assist customers in selecting and designing the correct fall protection systems for their applications, performing site evaluations and risk assessments where needed.
• Training & Education: Conduct product demonstrations, safety training, and webinars for customers and end-users on fall protection solutions, ensuring correct product use.
• Product Development Support: Collaborate with the product development team to provide insights from field experience to help guide product innovations.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local and international fall protection regulations, ensuring that 3M’s products are compliant with regional standards.
• Standards & Certifications: Assist in the development of new regional standards for fall protection and manage product certification processes for the ANZ region.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with the sales, marketing, and R&D teams to support the introduction of new products and the growth of fall protection solutions.
• Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve field issues related to product performance and installations, working with the global 3M engineering teams as needed.
• Market Insights: Collect customer and market feedback to help identify new opportunities and ensure 3M fall protection products remain competitive in the ANZ region.

Qualification.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Safety, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in fall protection, safety equipment, or a related technical field.
• Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of fall protection systems, AS/NZS standards, and industry best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Travel: Willingness to travel across the ANZ region to visit clients, attend job sites, and provide on-site technical support.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Training & Facilitation: Experience conducting safety training and product demonstrations is preferred.
• Certifications: Certified in Fall Protection or Occupational Safety is a plus.
• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing.
