We are thrilled to announce the creation of the role of Senior Application Specialist in our newly created Product and Pricing Team, as we embark on an exciting journey of implementing and integrating Zafin into our Kiwibank environments.
We’re looking for a Senior Application Specialist to join our product and pricing team with the purpose of supporting and enabling the integration and production transition of Zafin as our Product and Pricing Master.
Ensuring that support, maintenance and monitoring processes/documentation are in place to enable production transition. Subsequently working to enable more capabilities to deliver value for our stakeholders and to support Kiwibank’s transformation roadmap.
The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind, a proactive approach to application support, and a strong background in technical business analysis.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyse business and technical requirements, including facilitating workshops
  • Enabling the tasks within the production transition process
  • Translate business requirements into story maps, actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria
  • Comfortable leading conversations with engineers, architects and non-technical stakeholders
  • Champion user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure the platform meets business and technical requirements.
  • Provide necessary guidance to the development team during implementation.

Key skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
  • Strong experience in banking or finance industry
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Experienced in facilitating business and technical requirements elicitation sessions with stakeholders.
  • Experienced with large and complex modern cloud-based enterprise systems/platforms.
  • Experienced in working with Agile teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders, to design, review and align on new solution designs
  • Be available to join an On-call roster
