Description:

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Application Support for a 1 Year contract with our Public Sector Client in Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Secret level Security clearance. The opportunity has the potential for remote work for the duration of the contract.

THE SENIOR APPLICATION SUPPORT MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must hold an undergraduate’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering/Applied Science, Science, Mathematics or a related field;
  • Must have 2+ years of experience leading digital product management in the defence and security public sector (DND, CAF, Public Safety, RCMP);
  • Must have 3+ years of experience leading product management from the initial phase

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance in securing and governance of cloud assets;
  • Implement DevSecOps standards and best practices;
  • Provide input, guidance, and recommendations to CJCR regarding the deployment of standardized and secure cloud resources;
  • Configure and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) objects to the CJCR Azure Landing Zone;
  • Provide operational support to the CJCR Azure Landing Zone;
  • Contribute to and facilitate the migration of on-premises applications and assets to the cloud;
  • Knowledge transfer for cloud migration, continuous integration, and deployment best practices;
  • Creates conversation notes, design documentation, change management documentation and other work requested;
  • Provides technical advice and guidance to management and clients to support decisions with respect to trends and new technology products in the cloud;
  • Participate in discussions/meetings/working groups with CJCR and DND stakeholders.
